Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026. This policy explains what information ourwebsiteisbroken.online collects when you visit, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and nothing sneaky.
What we collect
Browsing data. Like almost every website, our hosting and analytics tools record basic technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed and roughly when you viewed them. This is used to count visitors, see which articles people actually read, and keep the site running.
Comments. If you leave a comment or join a discussion on this site, the name and text you submit are stored so your comment can be displayed. Please do not put personal information such as your real address, phone number or email in a public comment.
What we do not collect. We have no user accounts, no checkout, no forms collecting personal details, and no mailing list. We never ask for payment information, government ID numbers or anything related to real driving services. We are a fan guide, not a DMV.
Cookies
This site and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic and, where advertising is shown, to serve and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work; the Springfield DMV wishes it could say the same.
Third-party services
We use third-party tools for hosting, analytics and possibly advertising. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies. Pages on this site may link to external websites, including official sources and the real our-website-is-broken.org address. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites, so check their policies if that matters to you.
How data is used
Data collected here is used only to operate, secure and improve this site: counting visits, spotting broken pages, stopping spam in comments and deciding which topics deserve more coverage. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can browse without commenting, block cookies in your browser, and ask us to remove a comment you posted by noting it in the discussion on that page. For anything else about this policy, reach us through the comments as described on our contact page.
